Taka's Kitchen is a casual Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Perth city. This was the first meal that we had back from Singapore! Wanted to shop in the city, so decided to eat at Taka because of its convenient location. We decided to share a Pork Katsu Don that comes with a miso soup.

The meal:

The katsu don that we shared was tasty, but nothing exceptional! Have definitely tried much better katsu dons. It comes in two different sizes, but we decided to order the large since we love sharing! 

The ambience:

This definitely isn't someplace to come for a date, and it was so hot that day and it felt like there was no air-conditioning at all. :(

The service:

Not good. When we asked for extra bowls and cutlery, they weren't very helpful or friendly. 

Overall:

Even though the ratings above aren't very good, I guess for the taste, convenience and price, then its quite alright! So that's why we rated it...
